Our Arabian Horses

Our three eleven year olds, part and pure-bred Arabs, were bred by Louis Chardon and were born of purebred Arabian sires and Arabian, Anglo/Arab or Quarter horse mares.

The Arabian horse is not an ordinary horse. This " desert steed " belongs to the oldest breed in the world and was, in olden days, the inseparable companion to the nomadic bedouin. She combines qualities which are not frequently found together : she is, on the one hand, noble, people-oriented and gentle and, on the other hand, sturdy and stout-hearted.

Our horses are very close to each other and form an harmoneous cavalry. They are not numbers and you will have the opportunity to get to know them ! They are very friendly, with beautiful chestnut coats. They only ride cross-country, have a good-natured temper, and are sure-footed. So far, they have never bolted or reared up.

They are not ridden with a bit in the mouth : they only know the hackamore bridle. They are not shod: their hooves are adequately trimmed and the riding gaits are adapted to the ground. Spurs, nuts and cubes, gaiters and stalls are unknown to them... and they have never been to a "high school".
